Before the trade
Record the thesis, setup tag, entry condition, invalidation level, target idea, and intended risk.
During the trade
Note material changes to the thesis, emotional decisions, adds, trims, and whether the plan changed.
After the trade
Record the result, but grade the process separately. A winning trade can still be poorly executed.
Weekly review
Look for repeated mistakes, best-performing setups, unnecessary trades, and one behavior to improve next week.
