What it shows
RSI measures recent momentum on a scale from 0 to 100. A higher reading can show strength, but it can also show that a move has already traveled quickly.
How to read it
Read RSI with price. Momentum improving during a pullback can support patience. Price rising while RSI weakens can be a reason to slow down. A high RSI reading alone is not an automatic sell signal.
Simple example
Price returns to a useful Volume Profile area and RSI stops falling. If price then reclaims a short-term level, momentum may be improving with the chart.
