What it shows
High-volume nodes are areas where the market spent time and accepted price. Low-volume areas are thinner zones where price may move more quickly.
How to use it
Mark the important high-volume areas, then compare current price with them. Price holding above value, returning into value, or rejecting value are different situations.
Simple example
A stock is trending higher but pulls back toward a prior high-volume node. That creates an area to watch. Price still needs to show that buyers are responding.
