What it answers
The 10 EMA reacts faster. The 21 EMA moves a little slower. Together, they create a simple filter for the short-term trend.
How to read it
When the 10 EMA is above the 21 EMA and both are rising, short-term direction is up. When the 10 EMA is below the 21 EMA and both are falling, direction is down. When the lines are flat or crossing repeatedly, direction is mixed. Slow down.
Simple example
A stock is above the 10/21 cloud and both averages are rising. That gives a bullish swing idea permission, but it is not an entry by itself. Next, look for price to be in a useful location.
What it does not tell you
The cloud does not tell you where to enter, how much to risk, or that a trend cannot fail.
